Been a while since I updated the blog. Here is a wedding album from one of our events last summer. The wedding took place in the Basilica of the Sacred Heart on the campus of Notre Dame. Enjoy!

It’s always nice to open a magazine and be surprised to find your photography featured in one of the articles!

Cynthia Basker of Celebrated Events used two of the images we shot for her at a 2009 wedding to illustrate one of her trends for 2010! We are flattered and thank Cyndi for this honor. The two images are the room shots of the Gillespie Center at the Hilton Garden Inn.

This is so true! Anyone can buy the exact same equipment I use to document weddings. There are no secrets when it comes to technology. The secret is what we do with that technology! Our vision of your wedding day.

A week ago I had a potential customer in to view a few videos and afterward I received the greatest compliment any customer could give us. It wasn’t “that looked fantastic” or anything else about the technical quality of the video it was “After watching that I feel as if I know that couple. You really capture their personalities and their day”.

This mom and bride had never met the couple on our wedding demo, but they left knowing who they were and how important their wedding day was to them.  and that is what separates Allure Films our competitors, we tell a story and that story is YOU!

This year is starting off great for me. I was browsing a wedding day magazine online today when I ran across the ad below for the Gillespie Center at the Hilton Garden Inn. The room shots are mine! Quite I surprise I wasn’t expecting to see them in an ad. Gillespie Center is one of the top 5 banquet facilities in town. Check them out if you are looking for a reception location.

The Allen family from a few weeks ago chose a creative way to display some of their favorite images from their family photography session. A collage. Allure Films can offer you many creative ways to display your favorite pictures, be they wedding, family, children, senior or special event.

Was doing a family photography session recently and it turned into a child photography session. The bed sheet was originally not intended to be a backdrop. Oh well… How cute are these two kids!

On Saturday Allure Films was the official photographers of this years Santa Cause sponsored by WSBT and the Hilton Garden Inn! Santa Cause is a breakfast with Santa for children and their families. The procedes benefit Saint Vincent DePaul Society.

If your children participated in the Santa Cause you can place reorders with online proofing.

Santa arrived from the North Pole in a firetruck provided by the Clay Township Fire Department.

Members of the Notre Dame Band provided entertainment for the children while they waited to speak with Santa and get their photos.

Spent an hour this past weekend with the wonderful Allen family, creating some holiday photos for sharing with friends. The boys were a couple of hams. The photography session took place in Mishawaka at Beutter Park.

I love doing outdoor family portraits. This past weekend we had a perfect Saturday to take family christmas pics with Liz, Casey and Ella. We hope they had as much fun as we did.
